This academic program was named after the BASAL layer— the innermost layer of the epidermis, which contains small round cells called BASAL cells.
The BASAL cells continually divide and new cells constantly push the older ones toward the surface of the skin where they eventually shed.
The basal layer is a metaphor for an individual's continuous thirst for information as they grow and evolve with newfound skills, thoughts, and ideas, shedding the old and becoming a new elevated version of themselves.
Understanding the limitations of an in-person training environment, BASAL was created as a training platform that would have the ability to reach beyond the classroom and get into the hands of aesthetic providers in the most convenient, efficient, and effective way possible.

Our Story

BASAL has been a long-time dream.
The high demand for intimate and boutique-style training in the aesthetic industry inspired me to build BASAL.
Our goal is to empower aesthetic providers with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their craft by providing personalized virtual training, and the best tools and resources.
This field is constantly expanding and evolving, and our mission is to evolve with it.
Limor Weinberg
The Woman Behind BASAL.
Limor has been working in the business of aesthetics for over 20 years.
She holds a Master’s in Nursing from the University of Miami, values ongoing education, and stays updated with the latest techniques. Completed trainings globally and is certified master injector from the Derma Clinic in London.
In 2020, she founded The Clinic USA to offer boutique-style training in the aesthetics industry. As a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in aesthetics, she provides diverse training sessions incorporating techniques from around the world.
She teaches her famous "Lip Mapping" technique and other injectable treatments to both novice and experienced providers, making her a leading aesthetic injector and trainer in the industry.
Truly believing in “community over competition” she loves mentoring, guiding, and helping new injectors navigate the competitive field of aesthetics.
